Aber Falls' newest distillers' cut edition has been matured in a Manzanilla Cask - a dry, white, fortified wine which originates from the coastal town of Sanlúcar de Barrameda in Spain.
Tasting Notes
Colour: Rich gold
Nose: There is a light coastal salinity from the Manzanilla which is also influenced by the Menai Straits, floral chamomile notes,
subtle hints of green apples with some light bread-dough notes.
Palate: Green apples is followed from the nose onto the palate with some of the saline character. Toasted almonds and raisins
reminiscent of Welsh bara brith.
Finish: A gentle nuttiness and a soft spice to finish, with a lingering long mouthfeel.
